KID'S PLANTING DAY
This free event is made possible by the Minot Park District's Horticulture Department. We can't wait to help your child choose their plant and learn a little bit about what we love most - Gardening and Farming!
Best for ages 6 - 13. One plant per child. Families are encouraged to plant together.
What we'll do together
Choose a favorite planting pot
Fill our planter up with soil and make a new home for our polinator plant.
Learn about how to care for our new plant
Decorate our plant's new home with decorations and paint
Event Registration
Complete the form below to register your child or children to participate. The activity will likely be 45 minutes and the child will take the plant home with them. You will receive an email confirmation.

Lil Vendors Kid's Market
We're looking for the youngest farmers, bakers, and makers to bring their goods and make a few sales!
Do you have a young entrepreneur in your home? Get them started on inventory and register them for their very own booth to be set up alongside or Market Members on Saturday, September 24. Registration opens August 10.

Salsa Showdown
Will your salsa win the Champion spot?
This Showdown is for the sweet and spicy homeade salsas to finally get the credit they deserve. Judged by our panel of celebrity judges with the help of the People's Favorite Jar Decoration to crown the winners in 3 categories and 2 divisions. Get all major produce supplies from one or more of our market vendors and get yourself entered for a BONUS prize! $15 per entry Registration begins August 20, entries can be dropped off the week of September 20 at the Market. Need not be present to compete.
